I still think about Mindy everyday. She's such an inspiration and a beautiful, wonderful spirit. I hope the next life treats her well.
She really taught me what it's like to be a survivor. Even though she's passed, I feel like she beat the cancer in her own way, she beat it by staying Mindy and not letting it break her emotionally. I'm so proud to have known her.

What ever happened with this? Am I out of the loop? I'm just wondering if the donation ever got sent in her name.
Also, it appears that people can still donate. Since its been so long, maybe people's economic situation has improved since we started this, or maybe you have joined the site since this happened -- either way, it couldn't hurt to donate to the American Cancer Society in her name. I never met this girl as I joined long after she passed but I've been reading about her on here and I have to say she sounds like she was one amazing person. Now, i'm all sad here at work because of the things you people have said about her. :)

Of COURSE it did!
I even donated extra because PayPal took some away during the transfer process.
I have two thank you letters that I could always post in case someone doesn't believe me.

Yeah, you are right Missberi - I just checked. It was 26 June - last year.
I have to say I never really chatted to her when she was on here, but I always remember being really impressed by her posts. She always seemed so strong and so positive. I never saw her complain in a post about her illness either.
An inspirational lady.
