Honestly as a bystander I would've walked up and broken the shit lol. Idgaf.
But I feel like there is a lot more going on here.
Something is definitely not adding up, because the cops said they saw her moving. It's a conspiracy!

I wondered about that too. I have left my big furry dogs in the car with the AC running with no issue.

Family of toddler found dead in hot car investigated for abuse allegations multiple times

    https://www.fox5vegas.com/news/famil...7e5c250ef.html

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) --The family of a toddler found dead in a hot car Monday was subject to multiple abuse complaints filed to Clark County Department of Family Services.

Sayah Deal, 1 year and 9 months, was found dead near H Street and Owens on Oct. 5 after her father, Sidney Deal, reportedly accidentally locked her inside his car. Deal now faces a charge of child abuse resulting in death.

According to a report from CCDFS, Child Protective Services received five reports of abuse regarding the family of the toddler dating back to 2018. CPS received three allegations of neglect in July and September 2018, one allegation in Jan. 2019 and a final allegation of abuse in June 2020.

CPS said all allegations were found to be unsubstantiated, according to the report. The report does not detail the allegations.

Sidney Deal posted a $20,000 bond Thursday. His next court hearing was set for Dec. 3.

Sayah Deal's mother Mariah Coleman posted a GoFundMe to help cover the costs of funeral services.

Father of Las Vegas toddler found dead in hot car released after posting bond

    https://www.fox5vegas.com/news/fathe...a752d99f5.html

Court records indicate that Sidney Deal, 27, was released after posting $20,000 bond.
A car window is a lot less than the 2,000 needed to secure a bond.

That was in the mid to late 90's and there were some computerized cars out there, but nothing like today's cars, so I guess that's why it's different. I would think that when a kid's life is on the line though, NO ONE would have to get permission to break a window. Heck, here in Florida I can legally break a window at any time if I see an animal left in a hot car....surely a kid's life is at least as valuable in lawmakers' minds?
Angie is right, I have locked my keys in the car more than once. My friends have access to a spare key that they can retrieve. I have had to call the police while traveling and it took less than five minutes after they got there.

There's got to be a lot more to this story. Pieces are missing from this puzzle and he's hiding them in his pockets.
Also, he's supposedly out on bail.
Regardless of if she was already dead before being locked in the car, everyone that didn't help unlock the car needs to be severely punished. Heads need to roll!

I saw a Tik Tok (yeah I know not a reliable source) today that a guy made about this and he says he has the same car and he demonstrates that you cannot lock the keys in this car unless you do it on purpose. Like when the keys are in the car and you hit the lock button it unlocks unless you get out with the keys and you roll the window down, get out, shut the door then reach in quick and hit the lock and then hit the button to roll the window back up and toss the keys in from the outside as the window is going up.

My car is like that too, but in my case I was strapping my son into his car seat with the keys in my hand. He took my key fob and pushed the lock button and locked himself in right after I closed the door.

I called 911 like 5 times because I didn't think they were coming fast enough.

My friend's severely autistic and blind son locked himself in the car. I don't remember if the car was running, but I thought we were going to have to break a window.

My son was like 2 when he did it. It wasnt hot outside but I was freaking out. The police officer couldnt break a window. He had to call in another police officer. They used the pump, and put the wire in trying to push the unlock button from both sides. He was starting to sweat and was crying and I was flipping out. Finally after about 20 min, they got it open. An ambulence came and checked him out, and said he was fine. One of the scariest moments of my life.

The police officer said my car had the most anti-theft equipment he has ever seen besides on the new Lexus's.

The father of a toddler who died after she was left in his hot car was sentenced Monday to probation and 30 days in jail.

Sidney Deal, 29, pleaded guilty in July to a gross misdemeanor charge of child abuse, neglect or endangerment. He entered what is known as an Alford plea, meaning he admitted only that prosecutors had enough evidence to prove the allegations to a jury.
