Just life has pissed me off today. grrrrrr

Ok I will elaborate...husband deleted my email bc hes a dummy.

Didnt buy a $40 book bc thats fucking ridiculous, and every kid was called up, by the author , to get a book. My kid thought he heard his name, and went up, to be told he didnt get a book and to sit down. So he cried. Who the fuck does that? Bully parents into buying overpriced books or the kid is shamed?

Also didnt know the author is coming bc my email is fucked up.

Yep. Because I dont want to overspend on a kids book, my kid is made to feel left out. Then they sent a note home that he cried about it. Of course he did. BUT I do feel really bad he went through that. Its my fault.

It gets worse. The neighborhood kids tore up my house.

Someone spilt a red substance on my new marble table that is VERY porous, and it absorbed the spill.

DTTAM: People that park in the order pickup spots at stores and go in to shop. When you actually have an order to pick up there are no empty numbered spots. Either park in the correct places to go in and shop, or place your own order to pick up!

@RBW I texted her, and she said she would look for it in his room. She didnt say it, but I think she knows he took it.

I had to buy 17 gifts this year-no joke. I used to spend about $50 a gift, and we are tight on money and have to spent less. I spent like $15 on some kids gifts.

Its not really fair when I have 1 child, but have 10 nieces and nephews.

I know Im going to get an amazon gift card, and Im buying that knock off Caturus (spelling ?) that donut thing the cats play in and scratch.

ps I know its going to give the cats free reign to be shitty to one another-but oh well.

Oh yeah, we bought a new elf that looked like Nate and called him Buddy. Austin was said Nate left us, so I said "I am just kidding you I really am Nate"

That shitty kid told me his cousin took the elf. He even said "M" do you remember when you were playing with the elf, well its gone now do you know what happened to it" and she started crying. She would have been 4 so Im not going to tell her mom.

@Angie - is there a chance that the family can next year just take names and everyone has one person they buy for outside the immediate family?

@BWS yes we did secret santa with my step sisters kids, so I bought 1 gift instead of 3.

I always buy my sisters kids gifts (3) so Tim buys his brothers kid's gifts (3) and his sisters kid (1).

The thing is my niece just had a birthday, so I only spent $10.

why do people have so many kids lol

@Angie - You can tell I don't have any family, as I couldn't remember what it was called (Secret Santa).

I have bought so many gifts, and this year we did names with my dad and sisters, so we only had to buy for one person. It helped, but I buy multiple gifts for my kids, grandson and hubby.

Just checked my amazon and I have bought 49 gifts, and I still need to buy more for my hubby.

Haha it's normally more when I have to buy for my sisters, their significant others, and my dad. Plus, since my sisters bought for my kids, my dad said it was only fair they should buy for my sisters. So I would have to buy a gift from me, one from each kid, to one sister...then the same to the other sister, same for her husband, my dad, etc. It ended up being I would have to buy like, 30 gifts just for my sisters and dad. I put my foot down and said we are picking names lol.

I don't always buy super expensive gifts but I do have a few that I bought this year that are over $100 each.

You should see my house, it looks like I ripped off an Amazon truck I have boxes in the entry way, my bedroom, Leroy's playroom...I ran out of room and started throwing them in my son's closet.

@Nic - do you wrap the presents as you receive them?

BWS - no, I should but I procrastinate because I hate wrapping. I am going to start this weekend, though.

I also spent $100 in wrapping paper and bows because I wanted all the gifts wrapped in blue, white and silver to match my theme. No wonder I am always broke haha.

@Nic - I tend to procrastinate as well. I love buying wrapping paper; we have a whole collection of fancy shmancy paper. We're not doing a tree or any decorations this year, but I cannot wait until next year to have presents to wrap again.

You need to share pictures once you get them wrapped. I would love to see the theme you have going on.

I am highly embarassed of my wrapping ability. I use about a roll for each gift and a shit ton of tape. It will look ok on one side, but utter shit on the other.
The kids get wrapped presents, but adults get the gift bag.

I got an xbox cd thing for my nephew and its going to be wrapped poorly.

Holy shit Nic I was bitching about the 17, you went into crazy territory I bought one for each person, except 4 for my nephew, 5 for Austin. I think if I worked it would be more.

Yes Ive added a bunch more stuff since I last posted.

I LOVE shopping for gifts. I know it sounds cliche, but it's more fun than buying for myself. I get all giddy finding something I know the person would like.

I have 10 gifts alone for my grandson.
