Facebook has been showing me my memories from two years ago and man I want to go back to the past!
I was in Europe, two years ago.
I never had traveling to Germany on my bucket list, but two years ago, I celebrated Oktoberfest in Berlin.
    It was a fun time!

And because no vacation would be complete without a nod to the Grim Reaper:

Has anyone ever been to Chloride, Arizona, population 352?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chloride,_Arizona

We found the coolest cemetery there! About half of the stones are homemade, all are highly decorated. A very interesting stroll through the graves.

Finally saw "Real Bodies" exhibit (there are several, this one was at Bally's).

So glad you got to see the horses, it must have been a nice diversion for your daughter. How is she doing?

Two hrs into the trip didn't see any horses.....I kept asking people who were fishing on the banks 'where are the horses?'.....was told they only come to the river early morning or late evening. Not too long after that boom we saw them! I was excited. Alexis could careless about wild horses, she wanted out of the kayak lmfaooo. But she had fun, she's doing well in school and yes the weekend away from the dorms was a good break for her. I got a hotel with a full kitchen and cooked her home cooked meals, that was the best part of her weekend.

I can't find the manatee pics I was looking for from the local spring, but this is from our anniversary a few years ago. There is a place where you are legally allowed to swim near the manatees, and can touch them (one hand only). You can't scuba, only snorkel and you have to use the noodles. They are typically only there during the winter.

The pic where the manatee has his flipper around my husband's arm is totally the doing of the manatee, he just came up and wrapped his flipper around his arm with no warning and I managed to catch it.

The manatee with the curled up lettuce looking tail and algae on it's back is a baby, and it kept coming over to and snuggling up to me...and then momma showed up and I didn't want to get between them so I backed off.

    WOW!!!!!

And.... I love how they approach you like that, they have cute (but sad) faces.
And.... it's a shame I'm such a wuss, this would be absolutely amazing.
And.... they really DO look like potatoes!

I the pic with your husband and the manatee locking arms.

I've never seen them so close up before (even in pictures). They are amazing.

Travel memories from Sedona Arizona. I'm pretty sure I felt and experienced the Sedona vortex. But it could have just been the weed.

Thank you, it was so cool there yo. If you're going hiking the first 3 pics are the Birthing Cave hike easy hike I wanna say about an hour one way. The next two pics & the bottom pic is the Cathedral Rock hike I wanna say about an hour 45 mins one way, a liltle harder but not bad, a good elevation hike, view from top is amazing!!! And the other pic with the pools is the Sacred Pools hike there are 7 pools but yoi can only see 3 in my pic and that hike is super easy about an hour each way. Have fun! Oh, lunch or dinner at Mariposa restaurant is excellent choice, sunset is best.
