On 11/27/2017, At approximately 0130 hours, Scott Kurland left his residence in his vehicle. Scott's vehicle was located at a residence unoccupied. Scott has not communicated with his family since leaving his residence.

Pasco County residents are urged to be on the lookout for a man who is missing after telling his family that he "wants to leave the Earth for good."
Early Monday morning, Pasco County Sheriff's deputies discovered a car belonging to Scott David Kurland, 45, of 7746 Crescent Palm Drive, Wesley Chapel, abandoned at Boyette Road and Elam Drive. After tracing the address of the car's owner, deputies arrived at Kurland's home and spoke to Kurland's wife who said her husband arrived home soaking wet at 1 a.m. and then left his home again at about 1:30 a.m.. She said she hasn't heard from him. She told deputies that she is concerned because he has been threatening to kill himself over the past two days.
The sheriff's Missing Persons, K-9, Air, Marine, Agricultural units along with a dive team, forensics team and staff from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission searched the area on Monday but did not find Kurland.
Kurland was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown Crocs and sweat pants. Anyone with information should call the Crime Tip Line at 1-800-706-2488; reference case #17-46013.
