The horrors in the house were discovered, reports CBS News, when Williams allegedly called the father of the children, Jameel Penn, “by video chat …to tell him the children were dead.”

“Penn says Williams panned around the room, and he called police after seeing his sons on the floor,” reported CBS.

Stick your dick in crazy, and your children will pay the price. How those poor babies must have suffered. Unimaginable

    That poor father.

It looks like the youngest was born preemie?

She was at a higher risk for post partum depression by having a preemie. I think she has post partum psychosis.

This is what he says the GoFundMe account is for-
"I want everyone to use my story as a helping hand. I lost my 2 young boys to violence and I want to be a difference maker in someone else's life to prevent a child being hurt."

Unfortunately it doesn't say anything about burying these babies or offer up another good reason to donate. Just a bit shady...

I didn't want to say anything rude about a grieving father, but I thought it was a little weird that he set it up almost immediately. I just hope it's good intentions.

I always think people who set up their own GFM are a little shady anyways.

Yeah, I hope he's not using this as a way to get some cash. Maybe it's for funeral expenses.

A fair amount of funeral homes don't charge for children's funerals.

    http://www.fox10phoenix.com/news/us-...r-two-toddlers

Funeral home to pay for services for two toddlers

ATLANTA - Willie Watkins Funeral Home is donating its services for the family of two toddlers who were found murdered in their southwest Atlanta residence.

Police discovered the bodies of 1-year old Ja'Karter Williams and 2-year old Ke'Younte Penn in the family's apartment on Howell Place on Friday.

The children's mother, Lamora Williams, is charged with murdering the boys by putting them in the oven and turning it on.

Funeral home owner Willie Watkins has been a fixture in Atlanta's West End community for about 35 years. He was compelled to help when he learned the tragedy occurred about a block from his business. Watkins met with the children's father Jameel Penn and told him he would donate his services. " I want to give them a befitting home going celebration that they can remember their brothers and son in a way that will not be so mournful", said Watkins.

Watkins also reached out to Southview Cemetery and West Hunter Baptist Church to arrange a funeral service and burial arrangements for the family.

All that I'm going through? Fuck her. I didn't have Post Partum Depression, but I would hope that I would call someone before doing something to my kids. Calling afterwards makes it seem as if she was trying to get back at the father.

This is real, really, heartbreaking. RIP babies.

She most definitely won't have a good time in prison.

Long time lurker here: Screw any woman who uses depression as an excuse for hurting their children. I have a long history of depression and I had post partum psychosis after my first child was born. There were nights that were terrifying. Where I had to wake my husband to sit with me til I calmed. Where I didn't feel safe to be alone with my newborn. It was hell. I got help and support asap. That was almost 8 years ago and we are all doing great now. Amazingly, even my marriage survived it.

Yes, I do know how it feels to lose your grip on reality and actually have thoughts of wanting to harm your innocent child. There's still no excuse for acting on it. No one acts on those thoughts unless they 100% want to to begin with. Being depressed is not a defense. RIP to these poor babies. You deserved so much better little ones. 😢

The difference is you got help. Not that I'm doubting your story, but people with post partum psychosis literally cannot distinguish reality from fiction.

You most likely had post partum OCD with intrusive thoughts. You had the terrible thoughts, and realized they were unnatural, and got help. Someone with true post partum psychosis would not have that insight.

I'm not justifying what this woman did, by any means. It's terrible and upsetting. There is a chance that she didn't know what she was doing and wasn't in her right mind. You would think after experiencing it for yourself, that you would be more sympathetic to her if she was experiencing a true post partum psychotic episode.

Chances are just as good that she was just a fucking pile of garbage. I haven't read of anything confirming a PPD diagnosis as of yet.

She had a long history of mental health issues she refused to get treatment for.

ETA: I don't know why her family didn't try to get the kids out of her care if they knew she was unstable?

Just because a diagnosis hasn't been made doesn't mean it wasn't the case.

Also, just because someone experienced it without succumbing to the worst case scenario doesn't mean that will always be the case.

I don't know what happened, but it seems likely there was some mental illness happening and I can't get on board the fuck her train with just the information here.

Mental illness is no excuse for harming others, period. Not seeking help makes you a worthless sack of shit 100% of the time. Having experienced the difficulty myself, and met many others who suffer even worse, makes me understand better than many others the goofiness of anyone who tries to justify such actions. This idea of acting like having mental illness means giving any murderer any leeway or sympathy is nauseating. Diagnosed, not diagnosed, doesn't matter. Good people don't harm others like this regardless of what mindset they're in. Fuck the idea that anyone like this woman deserves sympathy of any kind. You've gotta be a special kind of stupid to be sympathetic in any way towards people who commit such acts. I suppose I just have too high of an IQ to let my own struggles help me find sympathy for a murderer. I'm a mother and a decent person, despite it all. This woman isn't either of those things no matter what idiotic excuses she throws out. Vile people like her who try to justify being a dirt bag with illness are why mental illness still holds so much stigma. Fuck anyone who buys into that. You are part of the problem. You are why people don't seek help out of fear of being lumped in with people like this. Cause you actually sit there and think mental illness is an excuse that in terms of torture and murder of others deserves sympathy. What?! You probably think drug addiction is an illness too. Murderers deserve sympathy if they had mental illness and drug addicts just can't help themselves even though they 100% chose their addiction over common sense, poor things. Yikes. I hope you haven't reproduced.

There is a reason why some murderers are found not criminally responsible for their crimes. If the courts determine that this woman was not of sound mind when this occured then she won?t be charged or may be confined to a mental institution. While I do not have enough information to judge at this moment, I don?t believe that all mentally ill people are able to stop themselves from either self harm or harming others. It?s just not that simple. I do however, feel awful for these poor babies. RIP little ones

Addiction is a disease, it isn't about choosing one thing over another. If someone has a mental illness that impairs their judgement of what is right and wrong, I am going to feel sorry for them. They are mentally incompetent and cannot be held responsible for their actions.

Mental illness literally makes some people violent. You expect people with mental illnesses to just think rationally and clearly. Umm, it doesn't work like that. I'm getting a sense that you honestly don't understand how psychology works.

Don't be silly. They clearly said they have a much higher IQ than the rest of us, so they probably know waaaay mpre about psychology. In my experience, the people who have to tell others how smart they are usually are genius level human beings and probably aren't fucking idiots in reality at all.

I especially like the part about how people who are sensitive to the unique circumstances surrounding mental illness are the ones perpetuating stigma and keeping people from seeking help because, duh, it is a well known fact that people always and only seek help when they know they'll be judged for their thoughts and actions.

You are why people don't seek help out of fear of being lumped in with people like this.

I think Rynners believes they are the foremost expert on PPD. Who are you to question the master of mental health? It’s just a shame that we aren’t nearly as dumb as she expected.
