Jody Hansbarger 40, passed away March 12, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic after suffering a massive heart attack. She was born in Loma Linda, Calif., the daughter of Elmer and Bonnie (Best) Emmert. Jody lived the majority of her life in Navarre, Ohio. She was a 1995 graduate of Fairless H.S. and went on to receive her degree as a registered nurse from Kent State. She was a kind and loving daughter, sister and wife and the very proudest mother to her sons.
She is survived by her loving family: her parents, her husband Erik; her sons, Austin, Joshua and Kyle; her sister, Christina (Bill) McCraney; her brother, Robert (Heather) Emmert; her nieces and nephews, Steven, Johnathan, Cheyenne, William, Peighton and Brooke; her in-laws, Robert and Susanne Parks; as well as many aunts uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday March 18th at 1 p.m. at the St. Paul United Church of Christ, 337 North Main St., Navarre.
