I am unbelievably sad to be posting in this thread.
Like several other girls from this site, I communicated with Tink for years on Facebook, but I never had the opportunity to spend time with her face to face. She was an incredibly kind, considerate person. She always put the needs of others ahead of hers, be it just checking in with random internet friends to make sure they were okay, or to whatever she could to bring love to her family's lives. She adored her nieces and looked forward to taking them to Myrtle Beach all year. She was fun-loving and never let the many, many challenges her life threw at her change her disposition or make her bitter. She knew how to laugh everything off, even the problems she had with her feet that would pretty much break another person. ANd she never made things about herself. She was just a wonderful lady, and I hope that the last few months of her life were warm, loving, and beautiful, just like her.
She really stepped up when I got my face caved in. She sent me a package, and would try to boost my spirits. I'm kind of an exhausting friend, so props to her for hanging in there. (props to everyone, actually)
I hate Christmas, so she gave me a Grinch doll. It's sitting on my bass amp.
Her poor family. This sucks.
RIP Tink
Im more a lurker but I remember Tink from when I was more active on here many years ago.
The FB post today made me sad and just wanted to stop in and express my condolences to one and all.
She was definitely a fixture of the MDS regulars and she always stood out to me for being such a kind and compassionate woman.
RIP Tink . . . I hope you have found peace x
Tink always had time for everyone. Such a wonderful lady. I will miss her very kind messages.
She was definitely the best of us.
RIP Tink. You will be very missed
I did a search for her name on FB and found a FB page for her -

I am only me, that is all that I can be.
No more, no less. I love, I laugh, I live & cry.
Rest in peace Pamela, you were clearly a beautiful woman, and have touched so many people. You'll never be forgotten, and reading these beautiful words makes me wish our paths had crossed.
I keep coming back to this and just keep thinking the same thing. She loved her boys and nieces so much and I can't imagine what they're feeling. Tink was so involved in her nieces' lives. They're too young to lose someone that important. She is one of those people whose death will impact the people she loved for a lifetime.
Ron please accept it-I'd like to know how she was in that time
She was always very kind to me here on MDS. She always had an encouraging word, a fun sense of humor, and a snarky wit. The world isn't as good without her in it.
Here's to Tink! <3

She was one awesome lady and will be missed yet remembered fondly!
Love and thoughts to her family.
Devastating news, it is beyond sad. She was such a kind, genuine, and funny woman. She was one of the people that no matter what she posted the minute I saw a post here on MDS or a pm on Facebook I smiled.
Tink was a very nice lady. She was one of the few oldies that understood my senses of humor.
Rip.
