I've noticed when men go missing there is usually mental illness involved.
I hope they find him soon so they can stop worrying.

Very strange. It says that his Sister had to physically go to his home to see if he was okay on Sept . 7th because she couldn't get in to contact with him. I wonder if he's been having problems. Whenever i see Washington Blvd I think "bad area" but it's a decent enough area along that stretch.
I have a feeling he was having issues of some sort

His mom made a blog for him and added some personal details that might help find him. She said he likes to hike/camp out, are there a ton of places to do that in that area?
He could have been injured while camping and been stranded or he could have gone to his favorite camping area to suicide
If his sister was that upset September 7th when she couldn't reach him, something had to have been off with him at that time.

Dear Family & Friends, Thank you for all your love and support over the past few months. It is with the deepest anguish that our family shares this update with you. We just learned that our beloved Wesley passed away on September 17, 2014 due to a tragic accident. Our family is beyond heartbroken and will forever miss Wesley's genuinely kind-hearted and adventurous spirit.
Sad. I wonder how they know his exact date of death, being that it was 5 days after he went missing.
Someone on Websleuths emailed the police department for confirmation of his death, and they replied back saying he hasn't been found. So odd.
Wow! That is odd and weird, but perhaps, the department can't or won't say anything.
Ok found this off another website "Yea it was suicide. The boy was depressed as fuck. His film career wasnt going anywhere and he had a bitchy "girlfriend". His family shouldve caught on and helped. I didnt know the dude but we had a bunch of mutual friends and even I knew he needed help. No one did anything."
Not sure if you seen it. One says it was from a climbing tragic addident and then the one I quote, judgeing my mom's tragic response I going with the quoted part
I found that thread and its also mostly comments from racist and homophobic trolls, I doubt whether anyone knew him off that site. I knew Wesley and while he was quiet and kept to himself and was very serious about his work, he was also very kind and positive, and loved being outdoors. So I could really see the COD being either. I will say it only makes sense the family wouldn't say if it was suicide I guess, but I feel like I need to know for sure. If anyone has any more info, I'd like to know, as I can't ask the family.
I still think this is weird. He isn't on the LA ME site either.
Moving this to solved, as he was found dead (mentioned above, but adding it here as well) on December 22, 2014.
