I wanted to dedicate a thread to Harlette. She was a genuinely sweet woman who had a big heart. She put others before herself, and I know that I will truly miss her.
Anyone who wants to say a few words in her honor can do so here.

Sad, she was last on about 8 days before she passed away. We're a different crowd, we mds'ers, but here at least we can be with others like us. I hope she suffered no pain and that she went peacefully. Rest gently, Harlette.
Don't like what I have to say? I respect that. Go fuck yourself.
Aww. She was sweet. I never had much interaction, but I liked her. She passed on my birthday. Ill be sure to remember her every year. RIP Harlette.
I'm so very sad about harlette. Cancer sucks so bad.
No. I'm going to call the funeral home today and ask them to pass my info on to the family and hopefully they reach out. I'm also going to send a card to the address I have for Harlette and see what happens. I'm 99% sure the information I found is her, but I'm looking for that other 1% to confirm.
Rest in peace sweet Harlette.
Harlette I remember she would pop in to the 'happy drunk thread' and be silly with some 'I'm not drunk, but I have chemo brain which is just as good!' posts. RIP Harlette.
:'( RIP Harlette.
I didn't really know her but what I've seen of her posts she seemed so sweet. So sad.
Did she mention having cancer? How did you all find out she had died?
She also posted a bit in the Obamacare thread. I think that she vented about it in the appropriate threads, but otherwise chose to not let people label her as "Cancer Victim" and pretty much conducted herself as any other random member in most threads. Meanwhile, she went through hell. I have huge respect for her. Regardless of if I knew her or not
She was an awesome chick with a huge heart. She had an awesome sense of humor and laughed during the dark times, even at herself - an admirable trait. I was honored when she confided in me, and heartbroken at the same time.
