Thats a little morbid, but I am not judging.
My moms cousin was brutally murdered while out on a jog. There is a run in her name. The parents are anti death penalty, and have chosen to forgive the murderer.
I personally have not experienced this kind of loss. I think I would want the murderer dead though.

"COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Condemned South Carolina inmate Brad Sigmon has chosen to die next month by a firing squad, a method of execution that has not been used in the U.S. in 15 years.
Sigmon is scheduled to die on March 7. On Friday, he became the first South Carolina inmate to choose the state’s new firing squad over lethal injection or the electric chair."
I would definately choose this method.
I think that would be my choice as well.
Just curious, why would you guys choose that?
Because they shoot you in the heart. Sudden, fast death. They put a bullseye on your heart.
I dont understand how these idiota cant do the barbiturates (lethal injection) right. I have seen probably about 100+ euthanasias of animals. I have placed catheters for over 50 animals. We have a rule, you dont get it in 2 sticks, you move on to someone else.
I only witness 1 bad euth (I wont go into detail). Im not trying to compare human and animal medicine, but there are really sick, dehydrated, old animals with crappy veins that if we cant place a catheter, we just go in with the needle.
I dont understand why its so hard.
Apparently these inept medical professionals cant locate a vein, (use a doppler). They cant figure out the lethal dosage, cant administer it right.
You are basically OD'ing. The thought of not being able to breath and choking is nope for me.
I think they should use a opiod, like fentanyl, for a quick, painless death.
I love how we are arguing over how we would choose to die if we were to be executed by the government. We are awesome.![]()
