Jodi wasn't too into talking to that lady detective. I wish that detective would have allowed for some LONG pauses. She talked and talked and talked. However, Jodi was far more into talking to Flores anyway. Good grief those tapes were brutal to listen to.
I didn't care for Lady Detective either. Was interesting to see the change in demeanor when Jodi was talking for Flores as opposed to Lady Detective.

Last night I watched the first unedited video below(Covers the unedited interrogation videos 1-5). It is so clear from the gate that she does not respond like a human being, ever. She doesn't cry, show fear, and she sure never shook all over after being told that she was the murderer.

Posted this on eyes for lies blog a few months ago. Thought it might be interest some of you:
It is very interesting to me that Jodi set up a blog spot on this site [blogger.com] 13 days after Travis set up his. Also, the timeline suggests that Jodi had moved back to Yreka CA from Mesa AZ. My observation alerted me to two specific blog entries. On April 14th 2008, Travis writes a blog entitiled "Why we are here...." http://travisalexander.blogspot.co.uk/ in which he quotes an excerpt from Marianne Williamson's 'A Return to Love'. 15 days later, April 29th 2008, Arias writes a blog entitled 'Awaken' where she uses the exact quotation from the same author. http://jodiarias.blogspot.co.uk/
Where as Travis' entries have some depth, insight and reflection, and he draws on personal experience many times, Aris' entries lack all these qualities. As oppose to Travis' they are very articulate and grammatically correct, but without depth and even meaning at times. She uses no personal information or experience. In my opinion, this is indicative of someone who is pretending to have depth, and, of course, mimicking the one person the blog is designed to impress.
From all I have seen so far, especially from the police interrogation interviews, Arias is a true psychopath. There are moments where she has been caught on film with an air of arrogance and self satisfaction, that have made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

After watching her in court and on the interrogation tapes, she is constantly being uber sneaky and nosy. Makes me think this behavior is so utterly ingrained. She has never gotten anything honestly or in good faith. I imagine she has likely rifled through the private business of anyone she's ever known, either for her own benefit or at the detriment of someone else. I've come across a few people in my life with this trait, and they literally suck you dry. (ah...don't know if pun intended or not!)

There's been "talk" and take it for what it's worth- but the buzz is that Matt, Skye and Chris have been added to the State's rebuttal list. Just buzz- nothing more. It's hard to tell what's BS and what's not BS. Thought I would mention it tho. Just putting it out there. I've been forced back to FB for the last 2 days, so my brain is pretty scrambled.
One other thing- if you post on FB pages, the JAII page is taking default pics and making fb pages in people's names- then posting as if they are that person. Just a FYI. (And the reason you'll never catch me on the State vs. Jodi page- or any other page)
I'm only up to tape 5. Det. Flores gives her chance after chance to claim self-defense. Jodi never asked for a lawyer. Her PARENTS never got her a lawyer. I think that's the biggest clue to how her family feels for her.

Edited Berm's original post for space since I am only replying to this entry. Didn't Jodi say that she found out about Mimi going to Cancun AFTER Travis was murdered? At his memorial, maybe? I am listening to the unedited interrogation tapes and I swear this is on one of them (either lady detective or Flores asks if it was because he was taking Mimi to Cancun and she replied no, she didn't find out until after). I wish I knew what tape it was on, but I'm on 14 and not about to go back at this point.

The problem I had with lady detective is that she kept mentioning Travis's parents. His mom and dad, and how did Jodi think they felt? Either she didn't know they were already deceased, or this was some interrogation tactic, but to me it looked like she didn't know what she was talking about.

I know you are only speculating but I have to disagree with this. She mentions in one of the tapes that she had money in her wallet and could she use that to put on her jail books because her parents didn't have the money to do that kind of thing (or something to that effect). Perhaps they couldn't afford a lawyer for her. Her mom and aunt have been in court every day, so no matter how they feel for her, they obviously support her.

It is of interest that Flores described Travis as a player and as such he wasn't able to commit. It was surprising to learn that he dated Deanna (sp) for 6 years and paid for her breast implants. We haven't heard much about Deanna and she didn't testify. It's intriguing to hear that Travis felt that Mimi was the one for him. Mimi is the complete opposite of Deanna, Lisa, and Jodie. She is older, educated and firmly grounded in her religion. Flores said Mimi saw through Travis. Apparently, after Travis's murder, Jodi's bishop told her that Mimi wasn't interested in Travis. Wouldn't it be ironic if on june 4th, JA killed Travis in a rage while under the false assumption that he found the perfect woman? Again, none of this means that Travis deserved to die or did anything which hastened his demise.

She touched her hair so much for 2 days straight, all the while going through garbage, rolling on the floor (not like us), eating, drawing, touching everything in that fucking interrogation room, trust me, SHE NEEDS SHAMPOO.

Where is the info on Deanna? I don't recall hearing anything about her so far, just her name mentioned once or twice. I believe one of the Hughes's emails mentioned that Jodi would end up just like Deanna if she got involved w/Travis? I do know Deanna is the one who took Napolean in. Thanks!
In one of the videos Jodi asks the police officer or detective woman to take her handcuffs off and then she asked for the heater to be turned on and I was like really wtf lol who does she think she is haha. I was surprised when they took her cuffs off like she asked and I wonder why they did?
Her family has owned several restaurants. They could have gotten a public defender way back then.
I was replying to someone who thought her family was relieved she was in jail.
