My friend just told me it's surprisingly not as good as the JVM book. Hogan has some inconsistencies in her pages but really focuses on the deeper story of Travis. One of the more decently highlighted main points was how Travis was slowly going into financial ruin, and more than likely because of Jodi whether her direct influence or his irresponsibility, one way or another. So I wouldn't be waiting with bated breath for the library to call.

Well, it's good that she is worried about appeals. I'd prefer that, as hard as it may be for the family - it would be worse on them if Jodi was able to get the conviction thrown out on appeal.

Even with the coverage and books, there are plenty of people outside AZ that are not informed much beyond the name. I just got back from a week in South Florida; while getting my hair done, I was chit chatting with the stylist, and said "you have Casey A and George Zimmerman, and we have Jodi Arias". She said oh the one that took pictures after she killed her bf? Then she referred to the judge as "he" and JA being on death row. The average man on the street does not pay attention like most of us are, even here in AZ. Although JA thinks she is world renown and loved - except for Shell's postcards to help her perspective.
I noticed that Exposed dropped from 6 to 7 on the New York Times Bestseller list.
My theory on the dragging out is that the powers that be think the Alexanders may eventually warm up to the idea of LWOP. As much as I would like to see DP, I am skeptical even a new jury would agree and it would be a waste of time and resources.
