Did you watch it? I liked it but it wasn't as scary as all the hype made it out to be and Nicholas Cage's character Longlegs(Dale Kobble) I found kinda silly. Still worth checking out

Been seeing previews for a movie called Afraid. It looks like it has the potential to be scary.

I just watched The Watchers. Not super scary but a good story line, twist at the end I wasn't expecting.

I listened to a podcast about it (or maybe it was the Dateline podcast?). Anyway.... I don't remember a twist at the end.

A podcast about the movie The Watchers? Is that based on a true story or something? I am talking about the movie with Dakota Fanning.

I saw Alien: Romulus at the theater a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty good. It fits in the timeline right after the first Alien movie. So much better than the Covenant and Prometheus nonsense of the last few years. It wasn't perfect, but it was pretty good. Fun fact, this is the first movie I have seen in a theater since 2005.

If it's a movie about a family who bought a house in NJ (NY ?) and started getting weird letters from "The Watcher" than it's based on a true story. The house was for sale not too long ago.

Kim - no this wasn't about that.

From Wiki: The Watchers is a 2024 American supernatural horror film written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan in her directorial debut, produced by M. Night Shyamalan, and based on the 2021 novel by A. M. Shine.[5][6] It stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Olwen Fouéré and Oliver Finnegan, and follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist who becomes trapped in a vast, untouched forest in the west of Ireland. Seeking shelter, she becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are stalked by mysterious creatures every night.

@RBW - Yes, that one! Crazy stuff. That's what the podcast was about.

@Nic B - THAT sounds interesting. So it was worth watching The Watchers?

Kim - I think it was worth it! Not really scary but interesting.

Siccin 2 on Tubi was pretty cool. I've been finding a lot of these random foreign horror movies are much better than what Hollywood has been doing lately.

Watching Babes which seems like a fun show. I loved Broad City. Ilana Glazer is hilarious.
