I saw the number 23, I could not stop laughing.
It is an interesting story, but it does not hold up well.
Are you really sure you just saw what you think you just saw? Life is a random hallucination. Dare to Disbelieve.

And affirmative action is a very nice term for racial discrimination against better-qualified white people in jobs, employment, promotions and scholarships, and college admittance.

Don't know what program or system you're using, but if you set it to run before you go to sleep and you'll be able to download 4-5 full movies(with great quality) I'll take the better quality and subsitute that for a few hours of waiting time anyday.

i loved the departed too! i was so happy when it got the oscar.

the brad pitt movie- babel- i found it interesting but a little slow. don't watch it if you're sleepy.

i watched the illusionist today on PPV :-P it was nice to look at ed norton, and i give the movie a B.

borat i saw a couple months ago expected to hate it but actually loved it.

i want to see the prestige next.

just a little advice when watching the prestige, "watch closely" or you'll be lost. That being said, it was a great film.

I really have to say that while i enjoyed both the illusionist and the Prestige (mmmmmm, christian bayle..yum) I was ultimately dissapointed in both. I would never reveal spoilers so I would like to suggest when you guys have watched the movies we open a discussion thread on the movies. I would love to hear other peoples perspective on the movies, especially the Prestige.

What dissappointed you about the prestige? I think I know where you're going...... Pm me if you have the time, because I loved it!!! The illusionist was also good(pretty predictable if you ask me) but very strong acting performances.

Btw I just saw this movie. Very good, creative and different.

I enjoyed both I just felt like the plots were a little deus ex machina heavy if you know what I mean. I would have to say I preferred the prestige but that is only because of the cast of actors, Christian Bale is dead sexy and Bowie as Tesla was excellent.
The illusionist is good and I enjoyed the story, ...Im having a hard time because I don't want to taint your experience with these movies...I think both are worth watching, it just goes against my movie morals to spill too much about a movie to someone who hasn't seen it. Lemme know when you have then we can discuss it. I would love to hear other peoples takes on the subject. Im a total dvd whore, and horror, fantasy, sophmoric comedy, that sorta thing is my bag.

    Re: just movie talk...

I mentioned this movie on a previous thread, but it's worth mentioning it again--

about a crime scene cleanup service--the main character is the chick cab-driver in Pulp Fiction--same actor, same character--"Butch, tell me what it's like to kill a man"

This flick is fucked, but I liked it--Alan Arkin directed it--his directoral debut--

This is the most original movie i've seen in awhile--
