Well that is retarded.
I was really looking forward to the little girl becoming a zombie and her mom having to shoot her.
The comic doesn't even have a real plot to it. It's just a character drama with zombies in the background.
I don't think they ever figure out what caused the zombie outbreak until a discovery much much much later in the comic.
The only plot is just to learn to survive.
The tv show needs to progress faster.
**Spoilers
If I were to run the show, I would have offed Shane during the first season. We would have found out Hershel has been keeping zombified family members by now. The second half of the 2nd season would be taking place at the prison.
I'll summarize next weeks for you.
Rick: (trying to be the morally superior one) Hershel, why you have zombies in barn?
Hershel: God will fix dem zombies.
Rick: You're wrong, H-man.
Hershel: You're dumb!
Rick: No, you are!
*Hershel lashes out at Rick*
Rick: We're leaving.
Hershel: K bye
*Rick and gang leave*
Hershel goes crazy and releases zombies from Barn. Most are killed though Maggie escapes to go find her Asian love machine, Glenn.
Meanwhile during that entire argument-
Darryl: Andrea, you're a dumb fuck.
Andrea: I know. :(
God, Andrea should just be ripped into shreds at this point.
I swear it's like they got the green light for 13 episodes and just decided to stretch 6 out to 13.
At first I liked this show. Now it seems a lot like Survivor. (I have never watched Survivor btw) Each week I yell "CHEESEBALL!" at some point during the episode.
I think the Dale character is super lame. Each week I want him to be eaten. He's the reason this show reminds me of Survivor.
Also, I hope Sophia is found as a zombie. I agree with Bowie with her no plot comment. Please, like they'd waste time looking for this missing idiot.
Dale is 0-3 for confrontations.
Dale: Hershel, I know about your zombies.
Hershel: Shut the fuck up, Dale.
Dale: Lori, I know you're pregnant.
Lori: Fuck off, old man!
Dale: Go away, Shane!
Shane: I will fuck up your world, Dale! Don't try me.
Dale is like the most annoying old man in your apartment complex you avoid at all costs.
I thought that girl was going to push Glen off the loft into the zombies.
The pro-life agenda of the show is utterly ridiculous and illogical. Lori's arguments for getting rid of the baby make a hell of a lot of sense (not to mention how dangerous it would be to travel with a woman insanely pregnant, giving birth, just having given birth). I'm not anti babies, but I don't understand how in a survival situation anyone would think it was a good idea. I could see if it's been two or three years and there in a settled situation/place but it was just so. . .let's have the child conversation for the 6th time this season, heap huge amounts of guilt and pressure on the woman (for it is her fault and it's convenient she slept with Shane earlier so her shaming can be made complete), and then have her decide to have the baby despite the fact that it might not survive, she might not survive, and a squalling child will bring the zombie hoard down upon them.
Plus, they got the pills wrong. The Morning After pill is not the same as RU 486 but that doesn't matter in a world in which all non-pregnancies are tantamount to abortion.
