Frame by frame is made such easier by photoshop layers these days; I'm going to try to animate mine tonight.

Spacing it was a pain in the ass. Plus, I had to kind of do it backwards, then erase each color. It took about 8 hours because the font that I used didn't have all of the edges closed.
My cousin did one in photoshop for me, but it was too damn girly. :lol:
Its all the same.... you just have different frames.....
You put all the layers on the first frame and arrange them, then create a new frame and move layers. Most decent photoprograms will have a set list of simple animation effects that you can put on layers.... fade, move, lens flare stuff like that. It isn't hard unless you try to make a cartoon or something....
Gifs suck though in a lot of ways..... I have made a few nice clear ones that appeared to break frame, but shadows save as solid rather than graduated... also you may lose a frame. or one frame will get corrupted when you export..... or a layer will move for no reason..... The bigger they are the more likely they are to get corrupted.
Keep them small and simple. You have a 300 frame sig, and it will bog the shit out of a cheap computer when they try to view the thread. Use a high DP! and 256 colors, or the gif will look like ass when you export it.
