Elizabeth Seholm (18) died from a heroin overdose (The 2nd MDS Member to die)

This one was sent to me from an MDS member some of the Senior Members know well. It was a very close friend of hers. Lizz only made 3 posts on MDS but she made her friend swear to put her up on MDS if she ever died.

And this info was emailed to me:

Lizz passed on 1/25/07 from an apparent herion overdose, the people she was with waited at least 2 hrs. before calling the police. She was deprived of oxygen for too long, there was nothing that could be done for her. She had been drug free for 6 months - this was her relapse.

Another heroin overdose?  Why are kids messing around with that poison.  Can't they do a different drug?  Tragic waste.

I really do not get how such young kids get in to sweet lady H. I vowed to never touch it. It just seems like the last resort drug. The people she was with are fucked in the head for letting her die. There was a million things they could have done with out being caught if thats what they were scared of .

Shame, poor kid, so often we read of people quitting it all and then falling off the wagon into the hearse...eeek. She seemed very sweet and I liked some of her pictures. What a tragic waste....again.

because it's cheap.  her so called friends that waited two hours to seek help should be flogged in public.  what a damned shame...she may have been able to have been saved.

I reakon a good way to try and prevent kids getting into heroin is by showing them movies like Requiem for a Dream. That movie stayed with me for awhile after i watched it the first time.
