Don't they sometimes scoop roofs in places that get a lot of snow because it's so heavy and could cause the roof to cave in?

All of the buildings on the corner are destroyed. I just saw it on the news. The roof of a strip mall caved in and my son was supposed to go there on a field trip next week.
We are expecting another 18 inches. :2huh:

Some guy died doing that here the other day. It was up north more but he was shoveling off his roof. He fell off and broke his leg. Nobody found him for a few days and he died from the cold.

Well, technically I probably wouldn't do it either. I'd make my husband do it. I'd have to be at my parents' house making sure my dad didn't try to shovel his. It's something he would try.

Within 8 or 10 miles I guess. So that's assuming I could even get there. But their house is two stories plus a walk in type attic, so three floors really and a steep roof and I'm not sure he gets it yet that he's too old for that shit.
