This article conflicts with the other article that says that Danielle was dead on the scene and was revived by emt workers. Both articles were written by the same reporter.
Driver in Antioch crash had revoked license

ANTIOCH -- A Round Lake Park man with a revoked Illinois driver's license was charged with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence after a vehicle crash Sunday evening.
Gary Nelson, 59, is being held in the Lake County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond for the accident. His next court appearance is set for Friday.
Nelson was traveling eastbound on Route 173 near Eagle Ridge Road when his blue 1993 Ford Escort lost control and collided with Harvard resident Kimberly Casteel's 2005 Ford Focus.
"He would likely have prior arrest records due to his revoked Illinois license and was driving with a suspended Indiana commercial driver's license," said Lake County sheriff's Sgt. Christopher Thompson. The sheriff's office would not indicate what prior charges were filed against Nelson.
"Following the collision, the Escort skidded off the roadway into a marsh of two feet of water and ejected a passenger in Nelson's vehicle," Thompson said.
Nelson's Escort contained two passengers: 37-year-old Timothy Allen Gaines of Round Lake Beach and 23-year-old Corey Cloos of Arlington Heights.
The Sheriff's Office was unable to disclose Nelson's blood-alcohol content.
The 28-year-old Casteel was treated at the scene and released to a friend after her vehicle was towed. Her passenger, 23-year-old Danielle Toal of Bristol, Wis., refused medical treatment at the scene.
Nelson was transported to the hospital by Antioch Fire Department paramedics and treated with minor injuries before being sent to the Lake County sheriff's office for booking.
One of Nelson's passengers was taken to an area hospital and was listed in critical condition.
"We are not sure which passenger is the one in critical condition," Thompson said.
More charges could be filed against Nelson after the State's Attorney's Office reviews details of the case.

Man, that's so sad. However, as an active MDS member, I wonder if she made her wishes known to her friends and family about what to do with her MS page. They made a memorial out of it, and I wonder what her feelings were on that. I personally prefer they leave the pages alone so we can see what the person was really like before others add a bunch of stuff to it.

I completely agree. That's why I decided it's time to put my profile on here. If I die, and they make a memorial page of it, send hate mails to the first person in my friends list. He's the only one who might know my password. :-)
