BRITAIN'S most infamous serial bigamist has spoken out for the first time about her extraordinary life - after racking up an astonishing FIVE husbands at the same time.
Pathological liar Emily Horne, who admitted her behaviour was "abominable", reveals her past as a prostitute and porn star.
And the 30-year-old tells how she lived with TWO husbands while bedding another lover.
She picked up a fourth hubby just MINUTES after leaving her third - and even proposed to one by text.
Horne, who has been prosecuted twice for bigamy, also told a string of lies to her spouses, falsely claiming that her dad was DEAD, her sister had died of a drugs overdose, she was suffering from cancer of the womb and that one husband had beaten and raped her.
Horne was obsessed with marriages as a child. She was just 12 when she persuaded her parents to buy her first wedding dress.
Her horrifying web of deceit, which is detailed in the Channel 4 documentary The Bigamist Bride: My Five Husbands next Thursday at 9pm, began when she was just 18.
In 1996 she wed her first and only legal husband, squaddie Paul Rigby, when they were both 18.
When the couple split after five months they never divorced. Then, in 1999, Emily moved on to her next husband, Sean Cunningham, 33.
The couple wed at Leeds register office with Horne using the false surname Leconte. She claimed to be a physics student - but was really appearing in porn movies.
She pushed Sean into marrying by claiming she was pregnant, then said she had suffered a miscarriage.
It was a claim that she would go on to make with nearly all of her other husbands and lovers.
Speaking publicly for the first time, bank worker Sean, who met Emily when she was working as a barmaid in his local, said: "She seemed to be head over heels with me and I suppose it didn't take long before I fell for her utterly.
"She was intriguing, beguiling, showed attention to me in a way that no girl had done before. We'd been together for two or three weeks when she first mentioned marriage.
"She said she'd come from a Roman Catholic family who didn't believe in a relationship without marriage.
Cruel
"I didn't know if I was coming or going. I didn't want to get married. One day I got a message that she wanted to meet me in a pub. I walked in and there was a note on the bar saying, 'You know what to do'.
"There was a box with the note - she'd bought the engagement ring. I turned around and she was there. So I put the ring on her finger."
Within months of their marriage the couple split after Horne claimed she had become a "widow" to Sean's ten-pin bowling hobby, a claim he denies.
After an affair with a Norwegian man, Horne got together with Simon Thorpe, 43, who she claims was the love of her life.
Amazingly, they DIDN'T get married - but did buy a house together.
Horne claims the relationship was total love but Simon said: "It was passionate - I'd say that. But I can't say it was a deep romantic love.
"It sounds very cruel - I did love her in my own way but I can't say it was an all-consuming love, no."
Horne also claims she got pregnant with Simon and that he and his mother "frogmarched" her to have an abortion, a claim Simon rejects as "astonishing" and "shocking".
On another occasion Emily falsely told Simon that her sister, Verity, had died of a drugs overdose.
Simon said: "Of all the low things you could do. What a wicked thing to do, to make up a story like that. The emotional effect it had on me, not to mention using her poor sister."
Horne tried to defend her lies, claiming: "How I phrased things then is very different to how I would now."
Soon bored of domestic life with Simon, Horne left him and met her next victim - website designer Chris Barratt, then 21.
Bizarrely, the couple moved in with husband No2, Sean, then married in December 2000.
As well as living with two husbands, Horne was still carrying on with Simon.
Her scheming was only rumbled when letters arrived at the house addressed to Emily Barratt and Emily Cunningham - and she was forced to own up to all three men.
West Yorkshire police were alerted and in August 2001 she was cautioned for bigamy.
But that didn't stop her shamelessly picking up a FOURTH husband - meeting him just MINUTES after leaving her previous one.
Train guard James Matthews, 34, from Ipswich, says he got chatting to her as she was "dressed sexy" - and she ended up in his bed that night, moving in with him days later.
Four weeks after meeting they were wed, after she proposed by text.
Strange
James said: "Out of the blue I got a text message asking me to marry her, which I thought was a bit strange.
"But I thought, 'Well I'm serious enough about her to consider marrying her.' So I said yes.
"She seemed very open-minded about the whole issue of sex. She was always wanting to do different things, had different suggestions about what to do. She was quite happy to try almost anything."
But Horne claims she proposed as a JOKE, adding: "I texted him 'marry me LOL' - not being serious. Once a snowball starts, it's very difficult to stop it. So I went ahead with it."
She told James she was working as a glamour model - but later confessed she was working in a massage parlour.
She now admits she was an escort girl but said: "I told James I was a model - I didn't specify what genre."
Asked if she was a prostitute, she said: "Escort. There is a difference. An escort is paid for her time - she can say no. Prostitutes in a massage parlour can't."
But asked if she accepted money for sex, she added: "Of course I did. But I also walked away sometimes."
Horne confessed to James she was married to three other men and they split as James branded the marriage a "farce".
Predatory
Horne was jailed for six months for bigamy after appearing at Ipswich Crown Court in January 2004.
She used the pseudonym Amileannya Carmichael and was described by the judge as "a very predatory female".
But not even a prison sentence could put her off. Her fifth wedding, to salesman Ashley Baker, 25, took place in September 2007 near Oldham.
Horne claims they met in a rock club - but Ashley maintains she was an escort girl he paid for sex.
Horne lied about having a miscarriage, suffering from cancer of the womb and having just months left to live.
They wed after four months together - then on the train to their honeymoon in Scotland she broke down and confessed about her other four husbands.
Ashley claims that when he tried to leave her, she threatened to kill herself.
And when he'd finally had enough and said he was going to the police about her bigamy, he alleges she said: "If I'm going down, you're going down with me."
The next day, she told police Ashley had raped her - but doctors could find no evidence of any attack.
She also claimed Ashley beat her up - but Ashley vehemently denies any claims of abuse, sexual or otherwise, and it was later shown that she had been lying again.
In July this year Horne was given a ten-month suspended sentence for bigamy.
She and her first husband are in the process of getting a divorce - and all the other marriages are null and void.
She said: "For me, love doesn't work. I think my behaviour has been abominable and wrong. I went one mistake too far, for whatever reason. I paid a very high price. And it's over."
