and with all these unanswered questions ... all of this that is unknown. i can't help but wonder if there was something more we all could have done. but i will try not to let my mind wander in that direction. because at this moment, we don't know what happened to you. we can't assume anything at this point.
i can't help but relive what i felt when jack died. how sad we all were. how much it broke my heart to watch you carry his casket. as we got older, i felt better because i felt like a little bit of jack lived on in you. you were my closest connection to him. and now you're gone too. and that is so hard for me to accept.
Who are you and do you even know Jason?

[/quote] No, we don't know Jason.
It was not suicide. It was a reckless mistake and I lost my best friend. Just now discovering these old posts so much later ...
I must have gone to school with you at some point if you know about Jack's suicide. Super curious who this is?
I was living up in Seattle and I was letting Jason stay at my place. We got a cool little apartment in Puyallup and he moved in with my brother a few weeks before I could start my move. I got the terrible phone call while I was at work... My brother found Jason cold and gone. It was an accidental overdose of Methadone. He was not a hardcore drug user and had great plans for his future. Some reckless friend of his hooked him up with these pills and he took too many and didn't wake up. Sometimes I think about him and type in his name just to see if anyone remembers him. That's how I stumbled upon this old website with posts from 2009.
My heart still goes out to all who loved and miss him.
