[quote author=Ron_NYC link=topic=21124.msg1339417#msg1339417 date=1248106092]I am against the death penalty, but I wouldn't donate a cent. The sad truth is most of the people donating will be people who think he's cute/innocent, and not people that are anti-capital punishment.

Oh I agree.. He will get money from the he can be changed type women for the most part.

It might be the only one. I Googled Laci with MDS and this was still the only thread to come up. It's possible that the original thread was lost in a crash somewhere along the line. It's an old case.

I wanted to RBW to bump this thread for me bc Scotts sentence was commuted from Death to life without parole.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure that it was lost in one of the crashes. So many great threads...

Yes. It started out as a missing person thread.

I thought I remembered Kambing posting in it not that long ago, when they first decided to look at his sentencing again.

If it was Kambing, it could've been posted any where....

Funny thing is, I remember replying to him. I have looked through the death penalty thread and searched the forum for both Laci and Scott (via our search engine and google) and I can't find anything.

I mentioned Scott Peterson in the Kristin Smart thread but that's the only thing I could find regarding him. Weird.

The Innocence Project is wasting their time and looking into this case *eye roll*

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime...on/ar-AA1nbUA6

The Los Angeles Innocence Project has taken up the notorious case of convicted wife killer Scott Peterson in new court filings, ABC News was first to report on Thursday. The group is seeking new evidence from the original trial.
He 100% did it, yet every couple years I see or hear people proclaiming his innocence. Its gross.

There are so many people that actually deserve (and need) help from The Innocence Project, and they waste time and money on this?!

I actually find this quite shocking. Typically they only take on cases where grave injustices occurred. This is stupid.

Here's a deep dive into what the Innocence Project is looking at.

The only reason anything is happening with this case, is because Scott's attorney is Mark Geragos. Hes very powerful and well known.

My mom gives money to the innocence project. Im going to let her know where her money is going to.

Oh yes, Geragos. Who could forget how he defended Jussie Smollet and so many other 'innocent' people throughout the years.

Wasn't he Zimmerman's lawyer? I'm too lazy to go look but I think that's correct.

I had to Google to see. He did not represent him.
