Just discovered a site called "The Tweet Hereafter". It provides the last tweets of people who died. Pretty interesting: https://twitter.com/TweetAfter

Good find!! This is pretty interesting. If you click where it says cause of death, it takes you to news articles.

The only deaths from the Texas Medical Examiner that will have cause/manner of death filled in are those with PENDING listed in those fields. If the cause/manner of death fields are blank (if they don't say PENDING), they are natural deaths which were reported to the M.E.'s office. In such cases they don't do an investigation.

So that means MDS could post these deaths saying they were natural!? I posted some cases in the past where the results never have been published, but a blank field is shown instead now.

I can't make that call. Maybe a Mod can?

Here's a link to a screen shot of the email that I sent to the Texas Medical Examiner's office, and the verbatim response that I received (with my email and name obscured). For some reason I can't get the image to appear -- sorry!

I don't know if natural would be the right term for a lot of the blank deaths. Sometimes it's cancer, heart disease etc. Things that the dead person was known to suffer from.

This site lists alcohol-related student deaths. I already found a few which I submitted, but I started in 2010, so there's still plenty to come. http://compelledtoact.com/Tragic_lis...ng_victims.htm

Is anyone else having issues with the Tarrant County ME site? It's showing hardly any deaths for me.

It's not just you. I thought I was going crazy. I'm having the same experience with it.

I found that the Miami Dade ME also puts deaths online - not as good a format as Tarrant County, but could be good for anyone looking for anything

Not exactly a source for articles, but these guys cover most of the area under the Tarrant County ME's jurisdiction. Denton, too. They don't post names or pics of fatality accidents, but they do include locations for most incidents.

Another site that goes along good with this county
It lists all the fatal car accidents. I've found several articles/names on this site.

Here's the Los Angeles County Dept.
You have to know a name to search the records tho.
Search for a case and view detailed information such as the final cause and manner of death, assigned investigator, and current status (including whether the case is ready for release). You can search for a case using a variety of criteria by clicking here.

Nothing in the "news" section fit this category, neither does this but ..... I found it interesting. Sad but unusual. I can't find her profile. Her dad called her Megan, not as the media has it spelled "Meagan". http://lancasteronline.com/news/loca...0ec6d6d74.html

So can anyone post cases, for example if I were to post cases from the LA County Coroner?

I checked the FAQ on that and the cases are fictional. It seemed weird that the "body" looked to be smiling in one "crime scene" photo, sleeping in another, and with a flushed healthy skin tone in both.
