Family members of a 28-year-old Lake City man who has been missing for more than two weeks are pleading for the public’s help as they search for answers in his unexplained disappearance.

Seattle police are asking for assistance in locating Diangelo McKinney, who was last seen leaving his apartment building at 5:45 p.m. on July 6.

His family says a series of unusual circumstances has heightened concerns for his safety.

McKinney’s sister, Jasmine McKinney, said she became alarmed after learning family members had not heard from him. She requested a welfare check, then went to his apartment herself on July 9.

"When I got there, it was unlocked," she said. "We discovered that his ID was still there, his passport was there and his old phone was there. That is so out of character for my brother."

Jasmine said her brother always carried identification and maintained regular contact with family members.

The discovery of McKinney’s two cats alone in the apartment added to the family’s concern.

"He has two cats and those are his pride and joy," she said. "They were just meowing when I got in there. That is so out of character. It just seems like he vanished."

She said McKinney was dependable and rarely missed work. His absence from his job raised additional red flags.

"He always showed up for work," she said. "The district manager of Taco Time called me because they were concerned he hadn’t been showing up."

Investigators say they found possible evidence in the decades-old disappearance of Robert “Bobby Joe” Fritz and are now digging in the basement of the Campbellsport home where he lived when he vanished.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office said detectives served a search warrant Thursday, July 16, at the house where Bobby Joe lived when he disappeared.

During that search, investigators located what they described as potential evidence.

Because of that, the sheriff’s office said a larger excavation is now underway inside the home’s basement with help from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation and the state Crime Lab.

Robert was last seen playing in an empty lot in his family's Campbellsport, Wisconsin neighborhood on May 14, 1983. The lot was beside the Mill Pond/Milwaukee River in the area where the Campbellsport Firehouse now stands. He was with his sister and friends approximately one-half block from the family's residence when he was last seen.

Sometime between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m., Robert told his sister he was hungry and was going to walk home. Robert never arrived home and has never been heard from again. The toy gun he'd been playing with was later found. After Robert's disappearance, an extensive search was made of the Milwaukee River and the Mill Pond, on the theory that he had drowned. No trace of him was ever found.

A middle Georgia woman is missing after she was reportedly last known to be seen leaving her place of work at a Macon nursing home.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office said the 70-year-old Teresa "Terri" Meharg was last seen on July 12 at her job at Blossom Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Whiteside Road.

Meharg's job contacted a family member around 6:00 p.m. the next day to inform them she had not shown up for work.

The 70-year-old's family then contacted the Centerville Police Department (CPD), who contacted Meharg's workplace, which said she never clocked out on Sunday.

BSO said its investigator later began assisting CPD on Wednesday and discovered that the 70-year-old was last seen driving away from her job on July 13 in a black Jeep Patriot SUV at 12:48 a.m. and merging onto I-75 South at Eisenhower Parkway.

Meharg was last seen wearing gray medical scrubs and is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and as weighing 175 pounds, according to authorities.

San Diego County rescue crews and dive teams are actively searching for a missing Oceanside woman in Palomar Mountain State Park.

Angelica Brophy has been missing since July 6 after the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Oceanside Police said Brophy was last seen at 3:30 p.m. on July 6 at Harrah’s Resort in Valley Center.

On July 8, detectives contacted Brophy’s cell phone carrier and pinged her phone, according to police, but were unable to get any information as the phone was either turned off or its battery was dead.

Her abandoned vehicle was found in the parking lot of Palomar Mountain State Park on July 9, leading California State Parks and San Diego County Sheriff’s rescue crews to begin looking for her there.

Police said Ozana Cisneros remains missing, while her mother, Maximina Cisneros, was found earlier Friday and taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

An FBI spokesperson said the agency is assisting SAPD at a location in the 200 block of Parkview Drive.

Authorities continued searching Saturday for a missing 7-month-old San Antonio girl after her mother was found alive but injured and skeletal remains were discovered at a nearby park.

The search for Ozana Cisneros returned to Concepcion Park on the city's South Side, where members of Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR), a nonprofit first responder organization, assisted law enforcement in combing the area.

The renewed search comes after San Antonio police discovered skeletal remains at Concepcion Park on Friday night. Investigators have not determined whether the remains are human or whether they are connected to the disappearance of Ozana.

"We understand the concern that the community has and a lot of questions that they have," San Antonio police Lt. David Bacarreza said. "However, at this time we don't have the answers, and we want to ensure that we're doing our due diligence and providing accurate and confirmed information before we release anything. Police are hoping the public can help locate a missing one-year-old girl after, officials claim, she went missing from a home in Philly's Frankford section on Monday and was supposed to be with her out-of-state father.

But, her father says the missing girl is in Philly, though he didn't tell police where in the city she is or who she may be with, police claim.

Her mother told police that the girl was supposed to be with her father, who is not currently in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, officials said.

However, police said that the child's father told officers that the girl is still in Philadelphia -- though he has not given police an address where she might be nor has he told police who the child is supposed to be with.

Disappearance

On June 13, 2016, Amy McHale was last seen by family when she left her mother’s house in south Philadelphia. Around 10:00 pm, she was last seen along Broad and Olney Avenues, wearing shorts and a tank top.

In the early morning hours of June 14, 2016, Amy called her daughter and left a voicemail, saying she was going to be staying at her ex-husbands house, which is something she would do from time to time.

When her daughter tried to call Amy back it went straight to voicemail. She hasn’t been heard from since.

Amy’s ex-husband says she had been at his home on the night of June 13th, but that she was gone when he woke up the next morning.

vestigators are trying to determine what activities were taking place inside an Olney home after authorities discovered chemicals, firearms, ammunition and fake IDs.

Eugene Horsch, 44, is being held on drug and firearms charges following a multi-agency investigation involving the Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI.

Authorities spent Friday searching Horsch's home on the 400 block of West Chew Avenue, where Chopper 6 showed investigators wearing hazmat suits entering the property as police secured the neighborhood.

Investigators also found what Vanore described as a 55-gallon drum connected to water lines, though police have not determined its purpose.

"We just don't know what he was doing," Vanore said. "He's producing something. If he's making something, if he's irrigating something, we don't know."

Vanore said detectives are continuing to search the property, including an area near a sump pump, but emphasized that no human remains have been found.

The investigation stems from an encounter on June 19 at Independence Mall, where park rangers encountered Horsch and a woman inside a vehicle. Police said Horsch was carrying fake Drug Enforcement Administration credentials, while the woman possessed a fake identification card bearing the name of a missing person.

The developments drew the attention of the family of Amy McHale, who disappeared in 2016 after she was last seen at the West Chew Avenue home.

McHale had previously been married to Horsch's late father.
