Rangers searching Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona for a woman who disappeared while hiking with her children said on Thursday that they believe they have found her body.

Sarah Beadle, 38, of Fort Worth, Texas, went missing on Tuesday. She made reservations to stay with her two children at the Bright Angel Campground in Grand Canyon National Park, but she never arrived.

Her children, ages 10 and 11, are safe and accounted for, according to the National Park Service, which launched a missing person search for her in the park.

Beadle was hiking with her kids down the South Kaibab Trail, and park rangers later found her backpack near that trail's junction with the River Trail.

On Wednesday afternoon, search and rescue crews located a body believed to be Beadle's near the Black Bridge at the bottom of Grand Canyon, approximately three-quarters of a mile from Phantom Ranch, park officials said in a press release.

The National Park Service said it is working with the Coconino County Medical Examiner to conduct an investigation.
