Jacob Adam Wagenhals, 33, of Santa Monica, California, formerly of Ashland, passed away, Wednesday, December 9, 2015.

He was born on April 2, 1982 in Rowen County, Kentucky. Jacob was the son of Joseph Wagenhals and Suzanne (nee Hungerford) Roloff.

Jacob attended Ashland High School.

He is survived by his mother, Suzanne (Carl) Roloff of Ashland; his father, Joseph Wagenhals of Hilliard; one sister, Heather Kanz of Perrysville; one niece, Kelli Kanz; and one nephew, Mason Kanz.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A private family gathering in memory of Jacob will be held at a later date.
