Dec. 15, 1985 - May 15, 2016 Maggie Beveridge Mancuso was born on December 14, 1985, to her parents Alan Stephen and Brucie Beveridge Mancuso, in Birmingham, Alabama. Maggie left this Earth in the afternoon of Sunday, May 15, in Los Angeles, California, where she lived for many years. Her death was both sudden, and tragic. Maggie was a gorgeous child, and young lady, and this did not go unnoticed by her doting Grandmothers Velma Fleming of Geneva, Alabama; and, Adeline Mary Mancuso of Montgomery. Everyone loved Maggie, especially her Grandmothers. Maggie never knew her Grandfathers, Lieutenant Bruce Beveridge of Bay Minette, Alabama; and Salvatore Thomas Mancuso of Montgomery. Lieutenant Beveridge was killed in the Korean conflict just prior to the birth of his only daughter, Brucie. Maggie has a brother, Alan Stephen Mancuso, Jr. ; and, two sisters, Adeline Black Mancuso, and Brucie Elizabeth Mancuso. And above all, Maggie was a gorgeous Child of God, who loved her dearly. One of Maggie's very dear friends in Los Angeles, upon learning of her death, said this of Maggie to her Mother: " Oh Brucie, I have no words. Maggie was incredible. You brought a beautiful, thoughtful, smart, loving, creative, talented, one of a kind girl into this world……." A Memorial Mass will be said for Maggie for her family and friends on Friday, May 20 at 2:00pm at the Catholic Cathedral of Saint Paul in Downtown Birmingham. -
