A VIRAL star dubbed the "Queen of Myspace" after finding fame online has died from liver failure at just 35.
Christine Dolce, who rose to stardom on the social networking site, passed away on February 6.
Dolce had been hospitalised since December after suffering from problems related to alcohol abuse, TMZ reports.
The tragic star, who made her name with her racy selfies, is said to have died in hospital surrounded by her family.
Her funeral was held last week.
Dolce, who posted under the user name ForBiddeN, was proclaimed the Queen of Myspace by Vanity Fair in 2006, at the height of the site's popularity.
She had collected some 800,000 friends on the site at the time of the article, including celebs like rock band Nine Inch Nails and Dave Navarro from tattoo competition show Ink Master.
