Grand Rapids police have identified the suspect and victim in a murder-suicide.

Officials named the victim as 21-year-old Rosemarie Reilly. The suspect identified in this case is Jeremy Kelley, also 21 years old, according to a Grand Rapids Police Department news release.

Grand Rapids police say that the two deaths happened Sunday just after 3 a.m. at a residence in the 1400 block of Lake Drive SE following a report of several gunshots heard.

Upon arrival, officers located Reilly, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Kelley was shot and still conscious. He was then transported to St. Mary's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Kelley arrived at the address, shot Reilly and then shot himself. GRPD's Major Case Team is investigating the incident.
