Aaron McDonald, Resident of Phoenix with a true love of Arizona left behind his family and friends suddenly and unexpectedly on June 23, 2016 at the age of 33.
Aaron is survived by his Parents Don and Bonnie McDonald, Brother Matthew Robert McDonald, and fiancé Lisa Ruggiero who was loved so deeply by him and is so deeply loved by his parents and family.
Aaron is also survived by his Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a family of Law enforcement from both The City of Phoenix, Arizona and The City of Joliet, Illinois. Both agencies and the officers within are and will always be a vital part of him and his immediate family.
Born in Joliet, Illinois, but within six weeks became a true Arizonan. Although his work and life experiences took him to other places his heart and soul always remained committed to those he was close to in Arizona.
Always to be remembered by his smile, big heart and love for fun. Aaron would not shy away from a large or small challenge, embarrassment set aside he would go for it and laugh along with others.
He also faced bigger challenges with determination and such a strong desire to do well. It was this he found to be the most challenging. All he wanted was to be the best at what he did and felt a loss when it wasn't immediately achieved. Patience for a better outcome was not his strong virtue. Loved and to be loved was a cornerstone of life to him. It was when a chip was carved from the stone that he found it so very hard to repair.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday 2 o'clock on July 1, 2016 at Crosswinds Presbyterian Church 20125 N. 15th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85027.
