A 2008 graduate of Greencastle High School, Kyle cared deeply about his family, Robin, Brody and Eric.
As an organ donor he has already given the gift of life to another family.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jerry Masten of Greencastle and Ed Hammond of Greencastle and grandparents James and Jane Arnett of Crawfordsville.

He is survived by his son, Eric Cruz Burton-Hyten of Greencastle, his parents, Neil and Kelley Masten of Greencastle and Joe and Michele Hyten of Crawfordsville.

He is also survived by his siblings, Tyler and Macey Masten of Greencastle and Zane and Trenton Hyten of Crawfordsville; grandparents, Larry and Linda Bainaka of Heritage Lake, grandmother Sue Hammond of Greencastle and Marlene Masten of Greencastle, and grandfather Hugh Hyten of Crawfordsville.

A celebration of Kyle's life will be held on Thursday, March 3 from 4-8 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 202 S. Indiana St., Greencastle.

A formal service will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the same location.
