Forensic reports have revealed that Tollywood actor Uday Kiran was under the influence of alcohol when he committed suicide.

It was also mentioned that his death was caused by asphyxia due to hanging. Uday was reportedly depressed at the time of death.

The department of forensic medicine, Osmania Medical College, conducted the post-mortem on January 6.

A chemical analysis of the viscera was conducted by the Forensic Science Laboratory and the final report was submitted to the police.

The forensic report reads: "Hanging — An asphyxia death. He was under the influence of ethyl alcohol at the time of death."

Uday Kiran, fondly remembered as the lover boy in Tollywood, was found hanging in the gymnasium of his house in Srinagar Colony on January 5.
