Scott Allen Holley, 15 years old, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at his home in Hammond, Louisiana. He was born March 30, 2000 and was a student at Hammond High Magnet School.
Scotty was a beloved son and brother. He was an avid soccer player and referee. He loved playing saxophone and was a member of the Hammond High Magnet School band. He enjoyed karate and jiu jitsu, earning several awards. Scotty was also an active member of the First United Methodist Church youth group.
Surviving are his parents, Richard E. & Sandra Lee Brock Holley; sisters, Marie Holley, Dr. Gayle Holley Beyl and husband Dr. Robbie Beyl; brother, John Holley and fiancée Dr. Addie Smith; grandmother, Marie Brock.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James M. & Barbara Holley; grandfather, Earl Brock.
Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Friday, July 3, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume Saturday, July 4, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Hammond from 8:00 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond.
