Robert H. "Robbie" Yerdon, III, 24, of Haden Rd., entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 13, at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany. Born in Troy, Robbie is the son of Robert H. "Rob" Yerdon, Jr. (Adrienne Gundrum) of Grafton and Leah J. Squires Girard (Justin Wright) of Kinderhook. Robbie was educated and earned his GED in the Berlin Central Schools. Robbie was a very loving, caring and affectionate young man. He was an animal, nature and music lover. THE DOORS, PINK FLOYD and Jim Morrison were his favorites that you would likely hear when around Robbie. In his brief 24 years, Robbie travelled to 35 states and no matter where he was, he was always trying to help anyone that he could, by lending a helping hand. He had such a big heart, that even in his untimely passing, he made the gift of life to others by being an organ donor. Robbie's parents were informed that on the same day of his passing that two persons were already recipients of his giving. Robbie was never ashamed to express his love and could still always be heard saying, "I Love You", even to his parents and grandparents. He had been employed working with the animals at the Columbia-Greene Humane Society in Hudson. In addition to his parents, Robbie is the loving grandson of Robert "Bob" H. (Judy) Yerdon, Sr. of Grafton and Michele (Robert) Miller of Valatie and James Squires of Saratoga and Michele Miller of Valarie, cherished great grandson of Sharon Maron of Averill Park, Violet Richter of Bennington, VT and Ida Zablocky of Berlin, adored brother of Anthony Bender, Derek DeVito, Tanasia Squires, Andrianna and Aryanna Girard, Havana Squires and the late Kylie Yerdon, nephew of Cinda (Chris) Carlo, Lewis (Augusta) Yerdon, Jimmy Yerdon, Andrea Waltersdorf, Jaime Miller and Harold "JR" Burdick. Robbie is also survived by his many additional aunts, uncles, cousins and hundreds of friends. Funeral service will be celebrated by the Rev. Susan Schultz at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick Street in Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Eagle Mills Cemetery, Eagle Mills.
