Jessica T. Canada Holmes, 21, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord March 22, 2015.

A life resident of the area, Jessica worked for Burger King and was a 2012 graduate of Kenmore High School. Her son, Carter, was her life.

Preceded in death by her father, Scott Canada and stepfather, Jay Holmes, she is survived by her son, Carter; mother, Angela Holmes (Adam); sister, Savannah Holmes; half brother, Bryson; half sisters, Natalie and Macy; longtime boyfriend, Matt Kelly; grandparents, Pam Mignano, Kenny Aemmer and Jack and Peggy Canada; plus many other relatives and friends.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, where funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., with Rev. Jim Roma officiating. For those that wish, memorial contributions can be made to Charter One bank or in care of the funeral home for a fund that has been set up for Carter.
