The coroner's office this morning identified the man fatally shot Wednesday evening near Pershing and Telegraph avenues.
He is Parris Lamar Hall of Stockton, who would have turned 27 on March 3, according to Deputy Les Garcia, a spokesman for the sheriff-coroner's office.
Stockton Police are investigating the shooting, that occurred at 8:21 p.m. Wednesday. They have arrested 20-year-old Derrick McDowell and two boys, ages 15 and 13, and said they believed the shooting was drug-related. A woman was also wounded and is expected to survive.
Police have not released the names of the teens, because they are juveniles, nor the woman, because she's the victim of a crime.
