An Abbyville man has died from injuries suffered in a train-truck crash.

Bronc Kraft, 28, was pronounced dead at a Wichita hospital

Reno County authorities were called to K-61 and Sterling Road after 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Kraft was pulling two stock trailers with his truck. Investigators said Kraft failed to stop before reaching the tracks. A Union Pacific freight train was near the crossing. Kraft jumped from the truck before the collision, but was struck by debris as he ran.

No one on the train was injured.
