Ryan Trost, 16, of Fish Lake, died Monday, March 29, 2010, at his home.
He was born Aug. 4, 1993, in Hammond, IN, son of Scott and Mary (Norris) Trost.
Ryan was a junior at LaPorte High School, involved in the LaPorte High School Drama Club, playing the Pizza Guy in "Whodunit … and to Whom?" He also played in "Run For The Money." Ryan loved to play his guitar and wrote many songs, played in the band "OK With Adikwit."
Surviving are his parents, of Fish Lake; sisters, Teri Harms and her friend Patrick Hewitt, and Jamie Trost; paternal grandparents James and Maureen Trost; maternal grandmother Dorothy Norris; godfather Garry Harms; seven aunts and one uncle; many cousins; and countless friends.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Rev. Ross Mack officiating. There will be a time for family and friends to gather at the family home, 7993 E. 400 South, Fish Lake, following the service.
