Dallas A. Atherton, 19, of Spring Bay passed away on Saturday October 6, 2007.

He was born July 5, 1988 in Peoria the son of Dewayne L. and Patricia A. Keller Atherton. Surviving are his parents; 1 sister Amber Atherton all of Spring Bay; grandparents Jerry and Linda Keller of Peoria; Grandmother Dorothy Johnson of Petersburg, IL; 13 Aunts and Uncles; 24 cousins and 12 second cousins.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents Dallas & Alice Atherton; grandfather Marden Johnson; great grandmother Vida Atherton; great grandparents Glenn & Virginia Dixon; Great Uncle Robert Atherton.

He attended Metamora High School where he participated in Football and wrestling before graduating in 2006. After graduation he worked as a laborer for P.A. Atherton Construction. He was a member of Union Local #165.

Services will be 11am Wednesday October 10th at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with the Rev. Mike Fender officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home and also one-hour prior to his service. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay. The family as requested that in lieu of flowers memorials to be given to Whitney's Walk for depression awareness and suicide prevention C/O of Alpha Bank in Spring Bay
