Delani Rae Elliott Gingrich, 16, of Grantville passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at her home.
Born January 15, 1995 in Lebanon, she was 11th grade student at Lower Dauphin High School and was involved in volleyball, lacrosse, track and wresting at Central Dauphin, Central Dauphin East and Lower Dauphin. She loved her family, animals and playing all kinds of sports.
Surviving are her mother and step father Sammi (Elliott) and Robert Strunge with whom she lived; father Bradley Gingrich of Harrisburg; siblings Brady and Joshua Elliott both of Harrisburg, Bridget and Brant Gingrich both of Lebanon; step-sisters Samantha Strunge of Williamstown and Britney Strunge of Pine Grove; aunt Denise Weston, cousins Lanise Weston and Jadyn Dupler all of Fredericksburg; uncle and aunt John and Lynn Gingrich of Farmville, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at St. John's United Methodist Church, 165 Firehouse Road, Grantville, preceded by a viewing from 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
