Three suspected gang members, including a 16-year-old boy who will be prosecuted as an adult, were charged Tuesday with the fatal shooting of a Concord man inside an East Oakland apartment, police said.

Charged with murder were Jason Hunter, 19, of Oakland, Andrew Lucero, 19, of San Pablo and the juvenile, Samuel Garcia of Oakland. Hunter, who has a prior conviction for auto theft, was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

They are charged with shooting Pretis Golson, 25, inside an apartment in the 2400 block of 106th Avenue about 9:30 p.m. Friday. Golson died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday.

Sgt. Rachael Van Sloten said witnesses in the area provided information to police that led to the identification of the three suspects. She said the fatal shooting stemmed from an argument between Golson and the suspects, whom he knew. She did not say what the argument was about.

Golson frequently visited the area and the suspects may have been visiting someone in the apartment complex.

Lucero and Garcia were arrested Friday and Hunter surrendered to police Sunday.
