A teenage motorcyclist has died from the injuries he suffered in a road accident in Kingswood earlier this week.

Conor Hall, 16, who was a pupil at Downend School, was riding a moped which crashed in Charlton Road on Monday.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the accident which happened at around 11pm. Conor died yesterday in hospital.

A police spokesman said: "This was a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle. The rider, a 16-year-old boy, has died from his injuries in hospital."

Tributes have been paid to Conor on two groups on Facebook. One - RIP Conor Hall - has more than 4,600 people supporting it.

The other, the Conor Hall - Support & Info Group, has almost 3,000 supporters.
