Hi Everyone,
I am writing to you in probably not the best state of mind but I have a bit of time to finally update. I am currently hospitalized back at Memorial Hermann with some seriously painful digestive track issues. Another CT, another no answer form the doctors. At least this unscheduled CT showed once again no metastasis which I will take any day of the week. So chemo has been pounding me a lot worse than last year as evident by my blood counts. As you know already, my white blood cells are gone and my hemoglobin is at transfusion levels. We have now completed four treatments this year bringing me up to a total of 14 since this all got started. We are really beating the crap out of my body and all I know is that no stupid cancer better come back with all that I am having to put up with.
So I spent this entire last weekend with unbelievable pains. I kept holding off hoping it would get better though by Monday, we had to rush to the hospital. Its now Tuesday night and it looks like I'll be here for a while. Apparently I have intestinal blockage which if not fixed can of course cause bleeding. We definitely don't want that. The best way I can put this: I'll be staying here until my plumbing is fixed.
