A woman is in police custody and charged with Drug Induced Homicide after a 27-year-old man died from a heroin overdose on April 12.
Angela Halliday and Benjamin Berkenbile had exchanged the heroin the night before Berkenbile died.
Police seized narcotics and paraphernalia from Berkenbile's residence. After conducting an autopsy, the Madison County Coroner's Office identified Berkenbile's cause of death was from a heroin overdose.
Halliday's bond was set at $250,000.
