My Name is Tara. My Husband Andrew Press, whom you know as Bageena. Passed away suddenly in his sleep yesterday.

My husband and I often joked that I was the wife and MetaFilter was the mistress. It must have had something to do with the countless nights I would wake up to find him sitting in front of the all to familiar blue screen of knowledge and hilarity that is MetaFilter. You all were like a second family to him. I hope that his presence to the community will be missed since he was such an amazing, and bright soul we have all lost.
