Life services for Kalyn Dyan Huet, 23, Altus, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kincannon Funeral Home, Altus, followed by a reception in the Gathering Room at the funeral home.

Kalyn passed away peacefully Friday night, April 15, 2011, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Graveside service will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Canadian Valley Cemetery, north of Calumet.

Kalyn graduated from Altus High School in 2006 and married Justin Huet, a soldier stationed out of Fort Sill, on Sept. 22, 2007.

Kalyn enjoyed drawing, taking pictures, playing video games, and loved all animals, including her own "Blythe," a cocker spaniel, and cat, "Snarky."

Kalyn is survived by her husband, Justin; parents, David and Kittie Huey of Altus; sister, Megan Emhoff and her husband, Seth, and their daughter, Ella, of Bowie, Md.; grandmother, Charolette Moberly, of Altus; aunts: Lisa Buckner, of McAlester; Julie Adair, of Mesa, Ariz.; Susan Amstuz and her husband, Mark, of Disney, Okla.; uncle, Ben Huey, of McAlester; cousins: Derek Nunn, Andrea Nunn, Jason Buckner, Derrick Huey, Laurel Adair and Blake Adair, as well as many dear friends.
