Bruce J. Maguire. 36, of Fort Dodge, died September 13, 2008, at his home.

Services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Cemetery near Rinard. The visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Gunderson Funeral Home.

Bruce is survived by his children, Samantha and Brandon, his mother Beverly Mentzer, his siblings, Mike (Amy) Maguire, Stacey (Jonathan) Moore, Chris Pyse; his grandparents, Bill and June Luckenbill and Peggy Maguire; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Louis Maguire and an uncle Robert Maguire.

Bruce James Maguire was born November 13, 1971, in Emporia, Kansas. He grew up in Amarillo, Texas. Bruce was known for being a hard worker while doing the different types of work in the many places he lived throughout his lifetime. He will be remembered for his love of skiing, fishing and football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.

Bruce will be long remembered by all those who knew him and will be deeply missed by all those who love him.
