On March 28,2010, Alex Delfakis tragically left this earth much too soon in Rathdrum, Idaho.

He was born in Canada on January 23,1968, the third child of Georgios Delfakis (deceased) and Gisele Brossoit, moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1974 after spending some time in his father's village (Dara) in Greece. He attended St.Peter and Paul and Salpointe Catholic High School as well as Pima Community College in Tucson AZ.

Being an exceptionally loving and caring father, he devoted his life to his three beautiful daughters, Cristina (13) Anastasia (13) and Sophie (11) . He enjoyed and participated in many sports, semi-pro football, soccer coach, basketball, golf, fishing hunting and excelled in all of them. An educator, a teacher a lover of art and music, he shared his passions with his children. He had the rare gift of enveloping anyone, whether family (Brother Peter and Sister Catherine), friend or mere acquaintance into the warmth of his personality, and no matter what their mood, he elevated their spirit until they felt like his best friend and better for it. We will all miss his cheerful character and contagious laughter and will try to navigate this world without his light until we can see him again.

Donations can be made to the 'Alexandre Delfakis Memorial Account' at Scotia Bank or Wells Fargo's Alexandre Delfakis Estate Account in the U.S to help offset the medical and funeral expenses and also help with his daughters education.
