Hello, My name is Tim Broesch, I am Shawns father. I thought it might be important for all of Shawns friends to know all of the same information that the rest of Shawns family and I are aware of in relation to his death. I will be posting information about occuring events and past events in small blogs over the next couple weeks on a daily basis.

Shawn was born into my and his mothers arms March 2nd 1989. He left our reach January 3 2010. Shawn took his own life, to escape the abuse of three paticular people that were commanding his life. Why? We will never know why Shawn allowed these people to push him into the next world instead of Shawn asking all of us for help.

I have been asked if this could have been an accident? NO! Shawn was raised around firearms and hunted on a almost daily basis. He was very well educated about firearm safety. He had passed several firearm safety and ethics classes. Participated in competitive shooting and spent 2 years involved in NRA endorsed 4-H shooting programs. Shawn was very responsible and attentive when handling firearms. So, no there is no way it was an accident. The police that were on the scene of Shawns death confirmed this for me.

Could someone else been involved? YES & NO! No, no one else was close enough to him to pull the trigger. Yes, 5 years of emotions and physical abuse from the three individuals I mentioned earlier caused Shawns death.
